Canine Rehabilitation and Arthritis Center is a new 1,500 sq foot facility located within the Veterinary Specialty Center in Colorado Springs and is a sister practice of Colorado Canine Orthopedics (CCO). The facility includes pet specific examination and treatment rooms for laser therapy, ultra-sound therapy, transcutaneous electrical neuromuscular stimulation and massage therapy, a large “gym area” for stabilization and strengthening exercises, a wet area with underwater dog treadmills and a gait analysis room.
The canine rehabilitation center offers a wide range of services and works closely with CCO’s board certified surgeons to offer the most comprehensive care available for today’s canine orthopedic and sports medicine problems. The center focuses on both non-surgical treatments and conditioning modalities, as well as post-operative rehabilitation.
Osteoarthritis represents one of the biggest problems dogs face today, and the center specializes in the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic options available. So whether your pet needs post surgical rehabilitation, treatment of osteoarthritis or performance conditioning, we are here to help!
